ISA Announces Details of Electric Power Industry Conference

Research Triangle Park, NC (24 March 2005) - The 15th Annual Joint ISA POWID/EPRI Controls and Instrumentation Conference and 48th Annual ISA POWID Symposium, the only conference dedicated to power generation issues in the nation, will be held 5-10 June 2005 in Nashville, TN. 

The conference, held at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel, will cover the spectrum of technical and business topics related to the instrumentation, controls and networks to satisfy business intelligence needs of power products.  Several training courses will be offered during the week, including Tuning of Feedback Controllers and Introduction to Boiler Control Systems on 9 June and Boiler Burner Management Systems on 10 June. 

Marcia Cooper, TVA Senior VP of Engineering in the Fossil Power Group, will be the keynote speaker at the conference.  The conference sponsors are Power Magazine, Wood Group, Honeywell, Invensys and Emerson.
