2009 Executive Summit

This year’s Executive Summit will build upon our past relationships, expertise and experience with executives in various industries with strong automation ties as we continue to create a course of action to “Change the World” for the advancement of automation professionals.

As we continue to work together to focus on developing the future of automation, we at ISA have been actively involved in putting in motion some of those very ideas that were generated at last year’s summit. We have put in place a new Work Force Development task force that is creating new opportunities to bring new knowledge workers into the field; and we are very actively involved on Capitol Hill creating a unified, independent government relations voice through Automation Federation, the umbrella organization under which ISA is a founding member.

As the unbiased source of information for automation professionals and an active advocate for preserving, improving and furthering the automation profession, ISA is a natural and central point for academia, government, corporations and industries to come together and create a powerful unified voice for automation professionals globally.
