This course is the third in a series of four topics produced in cooperation with Coastal Skills Training to allow your engineers, technicians, managers and sales reps to gain the techniques they need on the job, and stay current with the latest techniques and advances. In this course you will learn how to select the proper control valve by considering many factors, including flow characteristics, environmental conditions, and safety issues. You will be exposed to the formulas and calculations that are needed in the selection process. In addition, you will learn the general criteria that must be followed when selecting an actuator and associated auxiliary devices.
