History of Industrial Control - Nov 12, 2008
Reviewer: Carl Wadsworth
This book is a fairly good overview of industrial control, covering a broad range of topics. It is useful as a reference book, and the included CD is very helpful; however, too much of the book is spent covering older technologies and "how we did things in the good old days", with only brief mention of newer technologies and methodologies. At times, it seems like the title of the book should be "History of Industrial Control". The authors clearly have been involved in the control field a very long time, and so interspersed in the history lessons are some fantastic insights from the authors' long experience.
