This seminar will provide essential information for professionals working in batch process, especially in the pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, food processing, chemical processing, and air and gas industries. Attendees will leave with an explanation of the goals of the standard, how to apply the standard, where it can be used, issues and problems the standard addresses, and the recipe and equipment structures used for batch control.

Define the prerequisites and co-requisites for implementing the standard for various architectures—programmable logic controller (PLC), distributed control system (DCS), PC-based control system
