Objectives:

  • Recognize general guidelines for removing and replacing gaskets
  • Identify application and advantages of using tubing in mechanical connections
  • Calculate tubing gain Identify parts of compression fittings and how they work together to create a seal
  • Describe how a flare fitting works
  • List good work practices to follow in order to minimize equipment down time
