We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Specialist who will assist in the growth of the HPS business. Competitive salary and excellent benefits await the successful candidate. This position will be based in Duluth, GA and support the East Region Project Operations group working on Specialty Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Hydrocarbon Processing, Refining and Batch Projects. The Electrical & Instrumentation Specialist position will interface directly with the Project Manager, Project Engineers and customers of the project. This position supports field engineering and installation activities for full scope projects. Responsibilities will include: Site visits for preliminary engineering activities, project scope definitions, electrical and instrumentation engineering, construction bid package development, construction management and startup assistance for full scope projects. This individual will work from instrument loop drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, project schedules and written descriptions. The position will present the opportunity to work on projects as an individual contributor or a member of a project team that focus on Electrical, Instrumentation and Construction portions of a Full Scope project delivery with objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance. Basic Qualifications: Experience working with field instrumentation Experience in designing and documenting DCS or PLC Termination Cabinets Experience in designing and documenting Marshalling cabinets Ability to follow standardized work processes for definition, design and engineering of implementation for Full Scope Projects Knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: 4 + years of related Instrumentation and Electrical Design experience in the process control industry Ability to design Instrumentation Drawings Ability to design electrical Motor Circuit Ability to design Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Ability to perform design using Computer Aided Design applications Experience with Construction Management of Process Control Installation projects Ability to work with remote engineering centers and multi-site project teams Ability to work with customers at the initial steps of a project to define to entire project scope Ability to assist with the presentation and review construction bid packages with customers and outside firms Ability to create standard re-useable project documentation Effective English communication skills-both written and oral Expected Travel: 50% As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to a diverse workforce Please apply online by going to http://www.honeywell.com/sites/careers/index.jsp search for job # 93443
