District Governance Communities

ISA is composed of 14 areas throughout the world called Districts. Local Sections are contained within the Districts. Access to each District page is provided below. On the District’s page, you will find the names of the identified District Council members along with their contact information. Scroll past the information posted by the council to reach the names of the council members.

ISA has one Region (a unit that has not yet qualified for District status) and that is the Latin America Region, which is attached to District 7. Access the District maps from the left navigation bar to learn more about each District, including the Sections assigned to the District.

A key District event is the annual Leadership Conference (DLC). Training and networking are the primary components of the DLC, providing an excellent opportunity to meet other leaders and exchange information and ideas. Facts about your District’s next DLC will be posted on the District’s web page. A member of the ISA Executive Committee generally attends the conference to update the group on society business, plus is available to field questions. The District’s staff liaison usually attends as well.
