This year's theme, "When Automation and Control Matter", at a new venue.

The show was opened by Mr David Small, Director, Policy and Performance, who stood in for The Honourable Conrad Enill, Minister of Energy and Energy Related Industries on the morning of June 25th. The Minister was called away unavoidably. Special thanks to Mr. Small, who not only stood in, but made the time to not just visit every booth, but talk with the exhibitors. See his feature address below.

Section President, Keone A. Jackman, introduced the theme of the show and pointed to the relevance of Automation and Control in daily life, and closed with some upcoming activities of the Section. See the president's address below.
