The International Society of Automation of Southwest Idaho
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Instrument, Controls, & Automation Professionals,
We are looking forward to an exciting and beneficial year for the Southwest Idaho ISA section. Again, our focus is on education, membership, and community stewardship. Plans are already being made to offer a variety of technical classes and seminars that will provide training and will assist you throughout your career while helping you reach the CEU and PDH requirements of your professions.
Please let us know if there are any specific areas where training is needed or if there are ways we can help you meet your education requirements.
In addition, we will conduct interesting and educational plant tours as well as give back to our community through participation in charitable organizations’ activities.
In this time of unstable economic conditions ISA can be a great way to keep your career moving ahead. ISA can keep you in the lead on automation and controls information and provide certifications such as CAP (Certified Automation Professional), CCST (Certified Control Systems Technician), and CIMM (Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanics). ISA is also a great way to network with other instrument, controls, and automation professionals.
For those of you who are already ISA members, we look forward to your participation and feedback. And for those of you who aren’t members, now is a great time to join.
Regards,
Colin Schmidt
President
