Message from the President

The ISA Central Arizona (CENAZ) Section was established to serve its members in the Phoenix Metro Area in the aerospace, electronics, and similar industries, and has done so for decades. The Southern Arizona Section served its members in the Tucson Metro Area in the mining and defense industries. As economic conditions have changed, Arizona has experienced boom and bust cycles over the years. Over time the economic effects during these cycle periods have caused the Southern Arizona Section to be dissolved and CENAZ became the sole section representing Arizona.

Over time, CENAZ has remained committed to providing leadership, direction, training, and networking opportunities to benefit our members. See our commitment firsthand at our monthly meetings (sometimes with speakers), plant site tours, table top event, annual BBQ, golf tournament, as well as other networking activities.

Our industry is now competing for members with other trade associations under difficult economic conditions, but we believe we still offer value to our members. However, we need your help and we have opportunities available for Section Leaders. In the coming year we hope to attract students at several universities and may be going “on the road” with some meetings outside of Phoenix.

CENAZ normally holds board meetings the first Thursday of each month at Damon S. Williams Associates (DSWA) in Phoenix, and all members are welcome to attend. If you are interested, we invite you to participate. Contact any board member for information, or join us at a board meeting and volunteer to help us by serving on a committee. Here you can meet other members and provide your input to help us become a better section. Refer to the local website for details.
