ISA97, In-Line Sensors

Scope

To prepare a series of standards to specify the process connection dimensions of sensing devices and thus promote innovation in sensor technology and interchangeability of similar devices.

Purpose

Create a series of standards on process connection dimensions for the various types of sensors such as flow meters, pressure sensors, and discrete devices.

A Word from the Chairman

The revised draft standards for flanged and wafer style vortex flowmeters have been balloted, and we are now working to resolve comments that were received on those documents. We will schedule our next meeting as required depending on the results of this effort.
