ISA76, Composition Analyzers

Scope

Instruments or devices used for analyzing composition and characteristics of materials for industrial monitoring.

Devices and applications relating to laboratory and medical use are excluded.

Purpose

To organize, manage, and coordinate all ISA Standards and Practices Department activities related to composition analyzers.

To prepare ISA standards on analytical devices, sampling systems, and related matters.

To act as a vehicle for introducing IEC standards on analyzers into the U.S. standards portfolio.
