ISA67.16WG1, EMI/RFI Design Requirements

Scope

To define the electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility test types, levels, and methodology for Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Equipment.

This document applies to new digital equipment but may also be applied to new analog equipment. The emissions testing practices are applicable to equipment that can interfere with safety-related equipment. The susceptibility testing practices are applicable to SR equipment but may be extended to other equipment.

Purpose

To provide uniform and consistent practices for electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility test types, levels, and methodology for Nuclear Power Plant Instrumentation and Control Equipment.
