ISA12.27, Process Seals

Scope

Survey, monitor, and participate in the development of national and international standards, practices, codes, and technical reports relating to the sealing of electrical equipment for use in hazardous (classified) locations.

Purpose

To review current practices and published standards and technical reports related to the construction, evaluation, and use of process, conduit, and cable seals for electrical equipment for use in hazardous (classified) locations.
To submit proposals, as needed, for the creation and revision of standards, practices, and technical reports related to the construction, evaluation, and use of process, conduit, and cable seals for electrical equipment for use in hazardous (classified) locations.
