The workforce development advisory committee is dedicated to building the next generation of automation professionals. Subcommittees include:
- Primary/Secondary Outreach
- College/University & Technical School Programs
- Transitional Workforce Opportunities
The goals of informing young people about the area of automation, interesting students to pursue a career in automation, help other technical professionals enter the automation field, and offering a path to automation for military and other transitional workers are being addressed.
The strategic vision of our workforce development is to pursue a comprehensive, integrated, cradle-to-grey effort to produce well-educated, highly-skilled individuals for work within the automation disciplines by preparing the current and future workers for automation careers at all skills levels and careers stages.
