2012 Joint DLC at La Jolla
Fun and Education for all!   The 2012 Joint DLC for Districts 9 and 11 started with a tour on Thursday of the processing plant of Stone Brewery. Samples were had by all, with dinner following the event at Karl Strauss Brewery patio. San Diego Section helped greatly with funding and organizing for a local tour bus to get everyone back to the hotel safely.
On Friday, we had meetings all day. We started at the top with keynote speaker Patrick Gouhin - CEO and Director of ISA, who presented a video and interesting presentation about customer service, and high level view of the ISA organizational structure. Dianne Noyes - ISA District/Section Support Representative, followed with a presentation of "Section Best Practices", to help new leaders find ISA WEB resources, and learn what is required for sections to continue receiving their rebates. Closing up the morning session was an incredibly inspiring presentation by Greg Lehmann - Chairman for Board of District Vice Presidents. Greg talked about revitalizing a section and providing section leaders with enthusiasm and ideas to take back to their section. After lunch, district and section issues were discussed. Closing up the Joint DLC was an update from Terry Molloy on the ISA Restructuring Initiative Committee.
