ISA-SPTAG66, Safety of Measuring Control and Associated Equipment

Scope

Standardization in the field of safety requirements for measuring, control, and laboratory equipment, for use in industry and laboratories, and for educational purposes.

Such equipment includes:

a) equipment and systems to measure, test, generate, and analyze, simple and complex electromagnetic quantities.

NOTE: Aspects of this equipment other than safety are covered by TC85.

b) equipment and systems for industrial-process measurement and control.

Purpose

ISA administers the United States Technical Advisory Group (USTAG) for IEC TC66.

IEC TC66 USTAG Meetings

The next meeting of IEC TC66 USTAG will be held at ISA, Research Triangle Park, NC, April 26-27, 2006. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.
