ISA92, Performance Requirements for Industrial Air Measurement Instrumentation Related to Health and Safety

Scope

To formulate standards, recommended practices, and technical reports for workplace ambient air measurement instrumentation that is used to enhance worker health and safety.

Installation, operation, and maintenance criteria are to be included.
Promote current technology for proper use and maintenance to enhance safety of personnel
Be a source of technical information.
Support efforts to obtain international standards for these instruments.

Purpose

To organize, manage, and coordinate all ISA Standards and Practices Department activities for workplace ambient air measurement instrumentation that is used to enhance worker health and safety.

We are seeking new members interested in participating on ISA92 and are in particular need of user participation. The committee has begun updating and revising all of its published documents. For a list of the current documents, select the "List of Standards for Committee" link above.

ISA Meetings

The next combined ISA12.13 and ISA92 meeting with be in conjunction with the ISA12 Committee and Subcommittee Meetings being held 25-29 February 2008 at the Holiday Inn SunSpree, St. Petersburg, Florida. Information on reservations will be distributed once it becomes available.
