ISA75.13, Valve Positioner Performance

Scope

Develop a standard or standard(s) for valve positioner evaluation and performance criteria. Positioners may accept pneumatic or electric, or other inputs. Outputs may be pneumatic, or other, to accommodate a valve actuator. Various tests shall be described.

Purpose

Develop standards for valve positioner performance. Provide support for the U.S. in the IEC SC65B/WG6 for their project on performance and testing of valve positioners.
