ISA75.09, Digital Final Control Elements/Digital Actuators

Scope

The arts and disciplines basic to digital actuators and digital final control elements, as devices that will accept low energy level binary inputs, in serial or parallel form, and will translate and provide an output at higher energy levels in acceptable binary form

Purpose

Establish and maintain a working committee, knowledgeable in the arts and disciplines basic to digital actuators and to digital final control elements. The committee is to provide terminology and definitions, and to combine these efforts into standards or recommended practices.
