ISA-SP67.06, Performance Monitoring for Nuclear Safety-Related Instrument Channels in Nuclear Power Plants

Scope

To prepare standards, recommended practices, guidelines, conduct symposia, and otherwise extend knowledge and use of this discipline.

Purpose

Develop methods for determining performance of plant instrumentation in nuclear power generating stations and associated industries.

A Word from the Chairman

Regarding the draft standard ISA-67.06.01, Performance Monitoring for Nuclear Safety-Related Instrument Channels in Nuclear Power Plants, Chair Jim Redmon reports that the subcommittee has been in the process of dispositioning comments and adding or revising information in the area of online monitoring, including identification of key attributes of the system, and bringing the terminology in line with approved technical specifications.
