ExStik EX900 pH/ORP/Cl meterThe ExStik EX900 meter is ideal for water quality tests or any application monitoring pH and ORP (reduction [redox] potential readings). The modular design permits users to easily swap electrode modules in order to also measure total chlorine. The EX900 handheld meter kit features a set of three, patent-pending, flat-surface electrodes for pH, ORP, and chlorine. The ExStik automatically recognizes which electrode is connected for fast, plug-and-play convenience. The unique, flat electrode design is ideal for any kind of liquid, semi-solid, or solid surface and provides fast and easy “on-the-spot” measurements without the risk of clogged junctions or glass breakage. The meter is waterproof to IP57 standards and floats in water for easy recovery. Data validation indicators confirm when a reading has stabilized, and up to 15 labeled readings can be saved for later reference along with the last calibrated value. The large 2,000-count numerical display is complemented by a digital bar graph display to better illustrate relative changes in pH, ORP, or chlorine (in pH mode, the bar graph originates at the center, 7.00pH neutral point). When measuring pH or chlorine, the EX900 simultaneously displays temperature which is also used for automatic temperature compensation. The 0 to 14pH measurement range is rendered with 0.01pH resolution and accuracy. The meter supports 1, 2 or 3 point buffer calibration for pH. In ORP/redox mode, measurements span from -999 to 999mV with 1 mV maximum resolution and ±4mV accuracy. When measuring total chlorine, the EX900 is unaffected by the color or turbidity of the sample. A wide dynamic range to 10ppm is supported by a low detection limit down to 0.01ppm with ±0.01ppm accuracy (±10% of reading).
