Wire-to-wire junction box connector

The wire-to-wire (WTW) connector system for junction applications offers a simple and reusable method for connecting discrete wires and leaded components in electrical and electronics applications. This extension of the 9286 Series WTW connectors does not connect wires in the traditional 1:1 configuration; instead it connects numerous wires together electrically, creating a junction box. A single power, ground or signal wire can be branched out to run multiple devices/units identically. Several WTW connectors available on the market only support large gauge wires, but the 9286 Series WTW connector supports 18-26AWG with up to eight positions. The simple push button activation allows for stripped solid or stranded wires to be easily inserted and removed or replaced. The 9286 Series WTW connector is also reusable, a unique feature in the industry.
The 9286 Series connector also features the smallest profile in the industry and the shortest pitch at 4.00mm. The robust design can withstand harsh environments, offering a temperature range of -40ºC to +125ºC and an 8A current rating. Different wire gauges can be connected together within a single unit, and the BeCu contact system provides unparalleled reliability.
