Temperature ac power line regulators

The line of SVR-PL Series ultra-wide temperature ac power line regulators, available in five power models, has been designed to operate in extreme temperature environments beyond the capability of standard commercially available products rated to 104°F. Designed to operate from −22°F to +149°F (−30°C to 65°C), the SVR-PL rackmount and tower configured ac line regulators are ideal for use in variable high and low temperature applications where maintaining a constant temperature is required.
The success of the SVR Pro Series, which is rated at 131°F (55° C), led to the design of the new SVR-PL in order to meet more demanding temperature extremes. The new design includes optimized cooling and a high-temperature LED display made from material that is more tolerant of lower and higher temperatures. In addition, internal components have been enhanced to handle more extreme temperature conditions.
The solid-state SVR-PL 1kVA, 1.5kVA, 2kVA, 2.5kVA and 3kVA models provide clean, regulated, sinewave output power even when operating from an unregulated incoming ac power source, such as from an on-site generator. This gives users the highest level of protection against a wide spectrum of power problems, in contrast to the typical power conditioner, which relies on a tap-switching transformer to crudely regulate the output voltage.
The SVR-PL can be configured as a frequency converter for worldwide power applications. Accepting a 50/60Hz input and providing a fixed 60Hz or 50Hz output, the SVR-PL supplies a tightly regulated output of ±2% and excellent extended brownout protection.
