Power Cable Connectors

The field-attachable ICSf BIW Power Cable Connectors provide an easier method of joining downhole power cables for electric submersible pumps than the traditional splicing method, and can be used to join round and flat cables up to 1 AWG. Power Cable Connectors feature robust internal components housed in compact, heavy-duty steel shells, ensuring an extended lifespan and continuous, reliable performance in harsh hydrocarbon environments. Outer connector bodies have been designed with the smallest possible size profiles while still retaining their inherent mechanical strength. Available separately, mid-joint protectors for 4.5, 3.5, 2.875, and 2.375 tubing sizes provide additional mechanical protection. The Power Cable Connectors are rated to 5,000VAC for up to 140A, with pressure rating to 5,000psig at 149‹C (300‹F).
