FlowMaster electromagnetic flowmeters

The FlowMaster electromagnetic flowmeters have many sensor and transmitter (converter) innovations in common, simplifying maintenance, training, and parts inventories. Differences prevail primarily in the flowmeter bodies, piping connections, and certifications, depending on three categories of application: ProcessMaster magmeters for industrial processes as diverse as chemical, power, oil & gas, pulp & paper and metals & mining; WaterMaster magmeters for water and wastewater management; HygienicMaster magmeters for the food, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. When integrated with a management solution such as Asset Master, these instruments play a key role in optimizing customer operations and maintenance. ProcessMaster and HygienicMaster magmeters have a common electronics cartridge in the transmitter to lower inventory costs and spare parts. They also employ “Fit and Flow” technology, allowing for sensor data to be uploaded without operator programming. This affords less opportunity for operator error and results in reduced commissioning costs. This same cartridge can be deployed in integral and remote installations, including hazardous areas. The backlit, graphical display can be easily rotated through 270 degrees, allowing field teams to position the display for convenient operation regardless of the sensor or transmitter orientation. In all three FlowMaster magmeters, the operator can configure user-specific parameters and key in data via through-the-glass pushbuttons. Softkey functionality makes configuration via the display as simple as using a mobile phone. “Easy Setup” navigation menus quickly step the operator through the task of setting parameters.
