In memoriam: Kenneth Blair
Former ISA Saskatchewan Section President and District 10 DVP Kenneth Blair passed away 17 August 2013. He worked as a plant manager and in other roles for Yara Belle Plaine, which bought the Saskferco fertilizer plant in 2008. Blair’s leadership roles in ISA included section, district, and board activities; he served on the executive board from 2001–2002. Blair always insisted in paying his membership dues himself, which he thought was valuable. “Ken was always very involved and passionate about ‘The ISA,’ as he called it, and he respected the many friends he cultivated within the organization,” explains Stu Affleck of Corix. “His big heart also showed in the many community and charity events he led. He was a proud family man with cherished wife Flo and their two daughters.” He is survived by his wife of almost 36 years, two daughters, and two grandsons.
