Division Secretary/Treasurer
1. Duties and Responsibilities - The Division Secretary/Treasurer's role is to assist in the administration of the division.
The Division Secretary Treasurer's primary duties consist of:
- Serving on the division executive committee and serving as secretary to all division meetings
- Assisting the director in the administration of the division
- Aiding the director in the preparation of the annual division budget
- Serving as director in the latters absence, or if the position becomes vacant, it shall be filled by the director-elect for the unexpired portion
- Carrying out special projects or studies as requested by the director
- Assisting in the development and coordination of a division long range plan.
2. Position Parameters - The following list is the basic parameters for the position of Division Secretary/Treasurer:
- Term of Office - 1 year, eligible for reappointment
- Resources Available - ISA Manual of Organization & Procedure, Division Financial Management Guide, Division Executive Committee, and ISA staff.
- Time Commitment - 3-5 hours each quarter
- Meeting Obligations - Division Executive Committee Meetings, Division Meetings
- Qualifications - Division member in good standing, well organized, pays attention to detail, and a good communicator
- Method of Appointment - Appointed by the division director
