TASK FORCE MAKES FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REINVENTING DIVISIONS

For the last several months, a group of dedicated ISA leaders and staff has worked to define problems related to Divisions and suggest methods for improvement. The Task Force has completed the assignment of Reinventing Divisions and released its report.

ISA 2002 PROGRAM COORDINATORS

You have three weeks remaining to finalize your Division's programming. The deadline for soliciting abstracts is 31 March. When contacting potential authors, please refer them to the online form. Remind them to use your Division name or acronym for the solicitation source. For further information, please contact Richard Arriola.

NEW E-MAIL LISTS FOR DIVISION LEADERS

At the President's Winter Meeting in Jacksonville, it was requested that the A&T Department, the I&S Department, and the Joint A&T/I&S Advisory Board have E-mail lists to ensure more effective communication. If, as a Division Leader, you are interested in joining any of these lists, please contact Kelly Bishop. These lists can be used for discussing division-related business, effective leadership tactics, assisting other division leaders with advice and working to improve division benefits.

RESOURCES FOR NEWSLETTER EDITORS

As you know from our Division Key Dates document, there is a deadline date of 15 June for submitting content for your Summer Newsletters. It is vital to meet this deadline to ensure that your Division members receive their newsletters prior to ISA 2002. To assist Divisions with this challenge, a page is maintained on the ISA Website for Newsletter Editors. There you will find plenty of information ready for newsletter use. Simply download, and you're on your way.

As ISA Members, you are invited to use the new ISA Member logo on your business cards to indicate that you are a Member of the Society.
