DIVISION OFFICERS FOR 2004

There has been a change to your 2003 Key Dates! You will now be receiving your 2004 Division Leaders Report Form on 15 September instead of 1 November. If you already know who your officers are for 2004 you can download the form and e-mail it to Bill Palmer, wpalmer@isa.org right now!

If you are appointing a new Director or Director-elect, remember these appointments will need to be approved at the Board of Department Vice President's Meeting at the PFM in Houston. Please submit those appointments by 25 September, so the names can appear on the meeting agenda.

All you need to include is the person's name and the position to which they have been appointed. With this information, ISA Staff will be able to serve your Division better by providing correct contact information on your Division's Web page and newsletter.

DIVISION LUNCHEONS

Eight ISA Divisions will be hosting a luncheon for their Members and guests at ISA EXPO 2003. Is your Division one of them? Find out at the Division luncheon page. Join your friends and fellow Division Members for some sociability and to discuss important issues related to your technical field in all its aspects.

Wednesday, 22 October, 11:30 a.m., at the Reliant Center, Houston, TX, USA.

Sign up online or contact ISA Customer Service at (919) 549-8411.

ATTENTION ISA EXPO 2003 DIVISION PROGRAM COORDINATORS

Final papers are due on 15 August. ISA staff are working directly with authors, reviewers, and session chairs to maximize each Division's paper count for the proceedings. You can get updated program information online, or contact Carol St Jean, cstjean@isa.org.

JOINT A&T/I&S DEPARTMENT AWARDS LUNCHEON AT ISA EXPO 2003

There will be a joint A&T and I&S Department Awards Luncheon on Monday, 21 October 2003, at 11:30 p.m., Reliant Center, Houston, TX. Tickets are $23 per person and may be purchased by means of the online registration form. Join us in honoring your Division colleagues. Among the awards being presented from each Department are the 2003 Outstanding Division Awards, Most Improved Division, and Communications Award. Other awards include the Analysis Division's Member of the Year Award and the Chemical and Petroleum Industries Division, R.N. Pond Award for Best Paper of the Year.

This is a great time to get together and celebrate your achievements. You can reserve a table for your Division by contacting Bill Palmer.

DIVISION ROSTERS AND LABELS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

Do you realize that you can download your Division Rosters online! This action will save you a lot of time and provide information when you want. The process provides a comprehensive file of data about each Division Member at the end of each month. Rosters, instructions, and ISA's Privacy Policy are all available online. Please remember you must be logged in so the system can recognize you.

Your Division roster is updated monthly and placed on the ISA Web site around the 9th or 10th of each month and each run is dated. The coded Division Director, Director-elect, Membership Chair, Department Vice President, and Vice President-elect can download the roster information. The coded leaders for this privilege will find the information at the bottom of the page under Members and Leaders>Leader Resources>Division>Admin Forms. We will no longer be sending out rosters so please make sure you begin using this process immediately. If you have any questions regarding the downloading process, please contact Bill Palmer.

ATTENTION HOUSTON AREA PROFESSIONALS

ISA EXPO 2003 returns to Houston this October and we're looking for automation and control users from that area to become part of the Insiders' Club. By joining the Insiders' Club you help promote attendance and support of ISA. As an Insider, you will receive free passes to distribute to colleagues you believe will benefit from attending ISA EXPO 2003. You contribute greatly to the success of ISA EXPO 2003 by spreading the word within your facility and among your colleagues. In appreciation for their efforts, Insiders receive an ISA polo shirt, free VIP parking at ISA EXPO 2003, free conference session at ISA EXPO 2003, and recognition in the ISA EXPO 2003 On-Site Directory. If you are an automation and control user from the Houston area interested in learning more about the ISA EXPO 2003 Insiders Club, contact Tracey Berrett-Noble at tberrett@isa.org.
