InTech is published 12 times annually. All advertising copy is subject to approval. Advertising simulating editorial is not accepted.

8.125" wide x 10.875" deep
Type or Negative Size
Advertisements exceeding standard unit sizes in any dimension are considered bleed or oversized. Minimum ad depth is 4.875".
Halftones
133-line screen minimum; 150-line maximum.
Column Size
Page format based on 3- and 2-column width:
- 1-column width = 2.1875"
- 2-column width = 4.625"
- 3-column width = 7"
- column depth = 10" (720 pts)

Right-reading, emulsion-side down negatives with SWOP-recognized color proof (e.g. Matchprint, Fuji, etc.)
Ad Materials
Accepted format for ad artwork is a press-optimized PDF (see insert for instructions). Ads submitted as Photoshop jpeg (.jpg) or tiff (.tiff) with fonts/images embedded, Illustrator eps (with fonts converted to outline) are subject to production charges.
Ads submitted in any other format or not conforming to the above specifications will incur production charges. For color ads, a color proof must be submitted at 100 percent of final size. InTech is not responsible for color accuracy if advertiser does not provide a color-accurate proof (e.g., color laser prints are not color-accurate proofs).
Specifications for Bleed
- Single-page bleed plates: 8.5" w x 11.5" d
- Spread bleed: 17" (w) x 11.5" (d)
- To provide adequate binding and trim margin, vital advertising material must be kept at least 1/2" away from trim edge and gutter.
Ad Design and Layout Service
Type composition, photos, drawings, as well as other production services, can be provided and will be billed at cost to advertiser. Production charges are non-commissionable.
