Instructor:

Bob Lindeman, PMP, CAP has over 30 years experience in the project management and application of distributed automation systems, process automation, closed loop control, modeling and simulation, motion/robotic/sequential/environmental chamber controls, network security, operator training, system fabrication, installation and commissioning.  Bob’s real-world teaching experience comes from working with junior level engineers on various projects on how to apply engineering principles to specifying,designing implementing and commissioning automation systems.  He is currently a Center of Technical Excellence Fellow for Instrumentation and Controls and the Engineering Branch Manager for Aerospace Testing Alliance in TN, responsible for the operation and maintenance of the world’s largest ground test facility. Bob is also an ISA Fellow.

Description:

ISA’s CyberU online instructor-led training course offers the benefit of a high quality ISA training course with the added advantage of studying at your own pace in the office, at home, or while traveling.

This online course utilizes online training modules, additional text materials, online evaluations, and email discussions. Students will have access via email to an instructor and have an opportunity to participate in Q&A sessions with the instructor and other class participants.

ISA’s Certified Automation Professional® (CAP®) Learning System is a comprehensive and effective CAP exam preparation and professional development tool.

This CyberU course runs for nine (9) weeks. You will have access to seven online modules for a web session. Each module takes approximately 60 minutes. Your course syllabus will guide you through the course modules, provide assignments, and opportunities to interact with the instructor and other course participants.
