ISA College Collaboration Program
The International Society of Automation (ISA) invites community colleges and other institutions of higher learning to take part in a collaborative partnership that will provide local-area students with access to ISA’s hands-on, technical training on their campuses.
Through this collaboration:
-
The college will be able to expand its automation and control related continuing education offerings
-
Current and future automation professionals will be able to attend ISA’s technical training courses at a location that is convenient and cost effective for their companies and themselves (i.e. reduced travel costs)
-
Flexible course offerings and hands-on learning opportunities will be available to prepare students and interested individuals for careers in automation and control
-
ISA will qualify local instructors with relevant and relatable real-world experience to lead the courses
-
The college will be able to schedule the courses to meet the specific needs of students in the local area
-
Business-education partnership needs can be met through programs designed around the latest technology, specifically for local industry, from the beginner through the experienced automation engineer or technician
