Online Web Meeting Resources for ISA Divisions and Districts

ISA’s Districts and Divisions can take advantage of ISA’s contracted services with Cisco WebEx as well as audio conferencing services from Intercall to conduct online meetings and webinars. ISA Divisions and Districts are a part of the ISA corporate entity and are therefore eligible to utilize these contracted vendor provided services.

Divisions and Districts can use WebEx to conduct:

  • Online Division or District meetings
  • Webinars using the “Event Center” module of WebEx, which allows those invited to register for the event directly in Cisco WebEx, thus allowing for collection of contact information for all participants.

Audio Conferencing options

An audio service provider is needed when conducting WebEx meetings and webinars. There are two options available for audio conferencing:

  • FreeConferenceCallHD.com (with this option each caller pays for their own call via their telephone service provider)
  • Intercall Reservationless-Plus audio conferencing (with this option the division or district picks up the entire cost of the call at a rate of 13 cents per minute per each caller on the line.)

VOIP (Voice Over IP) is available for use with either of the above options for international callers. There is also an option for international callers to use local dial in numbers to dial into calls for both of the above options. Information on international local dial in numbers can be found at the below links:

How do I get started?

Division and District Directors and VPs should inform your staff contact that you are interested in using WebEx and/or the audio conferencing service. Your staff contact will make arrangements for a designated officer to be set up as a host, which will then allow them to set up their own meetings and use WebEx as needed for ISA-related business purposes. For audio conferencing using Intercall your staff contact can provide you with the audio conference numbers you can use. The cost of the call will be charged to the respective Division or District.

Restrictions

WebEx and Intercall Reservationless-Plus can only be used for ISA business purposes. In other words, they cannot be used for a leader’s individual company related business. Additionally, ISA Sections are separately incorporated and cannot use these services under the ISA agreement with these vendors. Sections would have to secure agreements independently with these vendors.
