Terry V. Molloy, P.ETerry V. Molloy, P.E. - Joined ISA in 1965 while working for Wallace & Tiernan. In 1969 Chet Beard asked him to become chairman of the Control Valve Noise Committee S&P 59. (Later changed to SP75.07.) He chaired the ISA control valve committee until 1980. In about 1990 he became active again in the local section issues as well as participating on the national level in various standards activities. He was elected president of the NorCal section in June 1996 where the newsletter was losing over $13,000 per year. At this time the section had approximately $40,000 in the bank. He became the editor and continued in that position until 2007. The section developed a business plan that resulted in significant increases in both social networking activities and training classes. This business plan resulted in the section developing financial assets of approximately $150,000. Those assets allowed funding of our leadership expenses for our representatives attending national and district conferences. District 11Vice President - October 1998 to December 2000. District VP Board Vice Chair for 2000. He had the honor of being nominated President-elect Secretary of the society the same year as Don Zee and Ken Baker were originally nominated. In 2008 he was presented with the Distinguished Service Award from the society. His credentials include a California professional engineering licenses in both Mechanical Engineering and Control Systems Engineering as well as an MBA with concentrations in Marketing, Organizational Design, and Finance. |
