Robert M. Bailliet, PE, Co-chair

A member of ISA since 1971 and a Fellow since 1998, Bob Bailliet has been actively involved in ISA at the Section, District, Division, Department, and Society levels.  He has served in numerous committee and officer positions in the New Orleans Section, including Section President in 1976-77.  He was Vice President of District 7 in 1977-79, served as Division Director of the Marine Sciences Division, and was Vice President of the Industries & Sciences Department in1995-97.  In 1999, Bob was elected President-elect Secretary and served as President of ISA in 2001.   In 2003, Bob served a one-year term as Chair of the newly-formed Image and Membership Department, pending the election of its first Vice President.  Bob has authored and presented numerous technical papers, has been program chair for several ISA events, and has served on the SP84 Committee.  Bob’s contributions to ISA were recognized in 1991 with the Distinguished Society Service Award and the Golden Achievement Award in 2009.
