Dawn SchweitzerDawn has been an active member of ISA since 1990. She joined the Rochester Section board in 1992, and served in all officer positions, becoming Section President in 1997. She began regular attendance at ISA Society meetings in 1998, and served as District 5 Vice President from 2002-2003. During her term as District VP, she participated in the last major ISA governance overhaul that reduced the size of the Executive Board, modified the membership of the Executive Committee, and distributed more responsibility to the Department and District activity boards. Currently serving as a Director of the Image & Membership and Strategic Planning Departments, as well as a return gig as Rochester Section President, she is also an active working group leader for the ISA101 HMI standard committee. Dawn’s professional career began with over 10 years as a project application engineer and supervisor with Taylor Instrument Company (now ABB), and has spent the last 20 years as an end user supporting the chemical manufacturing areas of Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester NY in a variety of technical and leadership positions. |
