UOP Technology AwardThe UOP Technology Award, established 1973, recognizes an outstanding achievement in the conception, design, or implementation of instrumentation and/or process control in an area of activity covered by the scope of the Society's Automation & Technology Department. Award and Presentation:The UOP Technology Award may be presented annually and carries a $1,000 honorarium and plaque. The presentation is made at the annual honors and awards program. Qualifications:The award is open to any person. Each candidate's contribution should be judged on the basis of the following suggested criteria: technological originality; usefulness; and the successful implementation of principles involved. Nomination:Nomination of an individual for the UOP Technology Award is accepted from any individual. Nominations are made in writing on the appropriate form. Previous Honorees:
