ISA Educational Foundation Non-scholarship Funds
Included under the umbrella of the ISA Educational Foundation are several funds dedicated to specific uses. While these funds are not dedicated to scholarship awards, they are used to extend education. Included in this category are:
ISA Standards Foundation - The Standards Foundation is dedicated to the development of industry standards. The work of Standards Committees extends around the world and draws together automation professionals who are recognized and respected for their knowledge and expertise. UOP Technology Award – Funded by UOP, Des Plaines, Illinois, this award recognizes an outstanding achievement in the conception, design, or implementation of instrumentation and/or process control in an area of activity covered by the scope of the Society’s Automation & Technology Department. Recipient selection is handled through the ISA Honors and Awards Committee.
ISA Life Members Committee – Funds provided by ISA Life Members who no longer pay dues and want to encourage careers in automation. The Life Members Committee is a strong supporter of the ISA Student Games and other ISA student activity.
ISA International Student Games – ISA has held the International Student Games since 1993 and annually awards $1,000 to each participating team.
