As a Member or Leader...

As a Member of ISA, you are ISA's greatest resource. Like all ISA Members, your active involvement in the Society keeps ISA moving forward. The Society was founded on the idea of a strong volunteer presence and the architecture of the Society promotes leadership and involvement by all members.

Your Section

You belong to a local Section, one of the core units of ISA. Divided geographically, ISA Sections give you the chance to network with automation professionals in your area. Each ISA Section strives to best meet the needs of its Members, by offering numerous leadership opportunities, social functions, professional exhibitions and training opportunities. Your District

Districts offer a broader leadership base that encompasses multiple Sections within a geographical region. There are 14 ISA Districts, each with a governance structure paralleling the ISA Section. Contact Ken Hilgers at ISA to find out how to become involved at the District level.

Technical Divisions

Membership in ISA's Technical Divisions brings you closer to your industries and technical interests. An ideal enhancement to your membership in ISA, Division membership gives you more of the direct connections you need to succeed. Society Leadership

You can develop or enhance your leadership skills in many ways within ISA. Volunteer to:

Publish a newsletter
Manage a web site
Organize events
Lead a local Section, Region, or District
Provide technical direction to the Society as a Technical Division leader
Help set policy and direction for one of the Society’s product lines
Lead the Society into the future
Present a white paper
