Dale Carson

Dale Carson is retired from Cytec Industries Inc. a specialty chemical Manufacturing Plant.  He held the position of Plant Instrument Engineer.  His duties included design and selection of conventional and smart field instrumentation as well as DCS systems. He was also involved with using PLC based systems for regulatory control.  He was  responsible for coordinating proper installation,  commissioning and start up.  This involved assisting instrument  technicians at the plant level during loop checks and controller tuning. Some of the types of processing equipment involved chemical reactors,  distillation columns,  drying and blending ,and coal , gas and oil fired boilers. 

Dale has AAS degrees in Electronics Engineering Technology from West Virginia University, and Mechanical Engineering Technology from West Virginia Institute of Technology. He has thirty five years of instrumentation experience from pneumatic systems thru DCS and PLC based systems.
