ISA Ireland Section Charter Celebrates 30^th Anniversary

On 8 November 2008, at the Maryborough Hotel Cork in Ireland, it was a historic moment when 19 of ISA Ireland Section Presidents posed for a picture in celebration of the Section’s 30^th anniversary.

The intent of the evening was to recognize the growth the Section has experienced since it was officially chartered in 1978 by then ISA President Hugh Wilson. The event was also in honor of all Members who have contributed to the impressive development of the Section and to those who continue the legacy.

Among the guests were Deputy Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr. Jim Corr; Minister of Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin TD; Commercial Counselor US Embassy Dr. Stephen J. Anderson; ISA District 12 Vice President Alex Bobovitch from Russia, and ISA Director of Global Operations, Tim Feldman, attended on behalf of 2008 ISA Society President Kim Miller Dunn. During the evening, several speeches were held, commending the efforts put into making the Ireland Section one of the most active ISA Sections with over 360 members.
