RFID solution

TURCK expanded its BL ident RFID product portfolio with the release of a Simple RFID (RFID-S) slice for its BL20 modular I/O system. Each RFID-S slice contains two channels of RFID. Additional RFID slices, as well as traditional discrete and analog I/O slices, may be added to the system, making it the only product on the market that allows this combination on the same node on the network. 

This design allows for the integration of RFID into new and existing systems. The RFID-S slice does not require special software for integration into a PLC system, further simplifying the entire process of adding RFID to a system.

USB interface

Gas analyzer

The capabilities of Model 5100-NCM (Non-Contact Moisture) Gas Analyzer now include analysis of carbon dioxide and moisture/methane in hydrocarbon streams. The Model 5100-NCM utilizes tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy technology. It offers natural gas and hydrocarbon producers, pipeline operators, and service companies with a highly reliable and cost-effective method for quickly and accurately measuring water vapor (moisture), methane, and carbon dioxide concentrations in natural gas and hydrocarbon streams.

Fieldbus-independent control network
