AVEVA bumps up its design engineering tools

An acquisition has made it possible for our customers to speed development and introduction of a new product. It is AVEVA Instrumentation.

Also, there is AVEVA PDMS, a data centric, multi-disciplinary design environment for the 3-D modeling of process plant. It has modules for the design of equipment, piping, HVAC, structure, and cable trays.

Modeling takes place using a customer-defined catalogue and specification, in a full 3-D environment, with the support of tools that ensure a clash-free design. A full range of drawings and pipe isometrics can be produced automatically from the model.
