An alarming interval

Within every HART smart transmitter, there are up to four dynamic variables. A HART Interface Monitor can extract up to three of the four as independent 4–20 mA signals and even provide alarming functions with relay outputs:

  • Density signal from a Coriolis mass flowmeter
  • Temperature measurement from a multivariable or pH transmitter
  • Valve stem position feedback (With open/closed status)
  • Pressure, differential pressure, and temperature from a multivariable mass flow transmitter
