Home General Information
Regulatory control, flow, fieldbus systems, model predictive control, design, level applications, tuning, sensors, batch --- process automation is complicated, to say the least. Let ISA help.
ISA's Control Valve Standards Committee works to prepare control valve face-to-face dimensional standards, and provide interchangeability between control valves made by various manufacturers. The Valve Actuator Standards Committee is focused on providing basic requirements for pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuators not manufactured by the valve, damper, or penstock manufacturer. Another ISA standards committee is working to create a standard that specifies a generic language to describe the properties of automation system components. The standards that these committees create can be used in multiple industries, and the documents produced can help you establish, maintain, and refresh your process automation processes.
ISA is recognized worldwide as a leader in nonbiased, vendor-neutral education and training programs for automation professionals. Industry professionals — experienced engineers, practicing technicians, and newcomers alike — can hone their skills at ISA's regional training centers; through onsite training programs at their company; or via ISA CyberU web-seminars, CD-ROM courses, and online courses.
