Innovision ’07

A national level project competition cum exhibition

With the success of INNOVISION ’06, Innovision ’07 was taken to a new level, with more numbers of participants all over India. More than 70 colleges from both degree and diploma streams had participated in the event.

The event was scheduled for two days comprising of

·       A project competition involving pure hardware & hardware interfaced with software type of projects (Main event).

·       A paper poster competition.

·       Workshops like PLC, PCB etc.

·       Many on the spot events.

Features:

·       The Total Cash Prize was more than Rs. 25,000 including prizes for all the events.

·       The event noticed a participation of over 60 groups with the number of people varying from two to four.

·       The Main Event i.e. the project competition had prize money of Rs. 15000.

·       The prize money for Paper poster was over Rs. 7000 and that for the On the Spot Events was Rs. 3000.

·       There was a crowd of more than 500 students including the participants on both the days of the event.

·       Participants were provided with snacks and lunch throughout the event.

·       Accommodation was provided for participants from outstation. [1]
