The Instrumentation Systems and Automation Society:

ISA stands for Instrumentation Systems and Automation Society, which was formerly known as Instrument Society of America. Founded in 1945, it is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals solve difficult problems. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts the largest conference and exhibition for automation professionals in the Western Hemisphere.

RGIT:

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology was established in 1992. It is located at Juhu-Versova link road at Andheri (W), Mumbai. The Institute is awarded ‘A’ Grade by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and approved by Govt. of Maharashtra and is affiliated to University of Mumbai.

 ISA-RGIT:

ISA-RGIT was formed in 1996 under the guidance of Mr. G.G. Bhutada. It has a base of more than 150 and thus holds the distinction of being the largest ISA chapter in Maharashtra section.

Some of the aims of ISA-RGIT are to facilitate industrial visits, projects and to conduct seminars and invite guest speakers to lecture on various topics pertaining to instrumentations. It also encourages student members to participate in various technical activities, thereby giving them an opportunity to keep up with the latest developments in the field.
