Fellow ISA BR Section Members,
I am looking forward to serving you over the 2008-2009 year. This year we will be pushing hard to raise awareness of the value of membership and sponsorship. Our efforts will be directed at the student populations and corporate leadership in all industries where automation professionals exist.
We have an exciting year of topics planned out for the monthly luncheon and dinner programs. Please see the events calendar and mark your calendars.
For 2009, the Baton Rouge Section will be hosting the Annual Expo with the New Orleans Section. Earlier this year we assisted the New Orleans section with their event and it was a great success. We are looking forward to hosting the next event and trust we can count on your participation and support. Please see the Expo link on the website for more details.
Our Annual Shrimp Boil and Membership event is coming up next month on September, 18 th . The shrimp will be plentiful, the beer and soft drinks will flowing and the music will be playing. Dress comfortable and wear some dancing shoes. Please make plans to join us and kick off our new year!
Please watch for our monthly newsletter and visit the section website often. There will be very meaningful and beneficial information shared with you. If you are a member but have not been receiving monthly information from the section, please notify us with you correct contact information.
This is YOUR professional organization. Your comments and suggestions are welcomed so please do not hold back. We want to hear from you. All board members' contact information is listed in the officers section. Give us your thoughts and ideas and let us turn them into reality.
